I’ve had a lot of fun the past few days. Met some great people. At the house I was couch surfing at, I met four Americans who were going to buy a van and travel and work. Nice kids. But I decided to go ahead and stay at a hostel again, I like the social atmosphere of it, plus I already know everyone here. But yesterday, I called up Ruth, the Irish girl and Bronson, the Aussie kids that I met last week. They live here and are super nice. They picked me up and we went to a pub in Richmond, and saw open mic night. Really cool place and the people were really talented. This one guy, who looked like Jermaine, FLight of the Conchords, played Kings of Leon and The Shins on a ukalele..(sp?). THen I rode the tram back to my side of town with this other Irish girl, Briona, and I’m going to her going away party Sat. Fun stuff. But anyways, walked into this pub to ask directions to get to another one where I was to meet people from my hostel for karaoke. And these two Aussie guys couldn’t explain it, so took me to it and hung out and met my friends. Nice people, the Australians. The second pub I watched people rock out, it was reallly fun. Today I am just hanging around. The weather is finally really nice. Blue skies and I can’t believe how much its warmed up. So much nicer. It is reallly windy though. I am getting antsy though. I want to be where its warm and where I can be outside in nature! Love yall!
