Life in Cairns
I arrived here a little over a week ago, sorry I haven’t written anything, but I’ve been enjoying it here so much and I’ve made really wonderful freinds, the kind I’ve been waiting to make. I took a twelve hour bus to get here, it wasn’t a bad trip, I read a whole book and it was much better than I thought it was.
Sarah found a ride share so I was waiting for her to...

I’ve been in Brisbane for going on a week, its funny that I find myself calling it my homebase, its a wonderful city, but my favorite is still Melbourne. But I am comfortable here and I love having Jellaine as a friend. She’s just so awesome and inspiring. Her business is doing so well, that she may quit her job soon and just work on Cherry Blooms and travel the world..how nice..

First of all: Here is my number: 0061414380913. Call me whenever you like, as there is no such thing as sleep in Australia!!! Jk. but who has time to sleep when you are in the most exciting time of your life? :) Ok, today I am in Brisbane CBD debating staying in a hostel another night or staying with Jellaine. I am going to start planning my trip north this weekend, yay. :) Here’s the post...

They call it BrisVegas..
On Sunday I was planning on staying in Surfer’s Paradise and couch surfing when Jellaine, who I met in Melbourne while couch surfing with Mitch and Hickey, called and asked if I wanted to go to the beach at Surfer’s and then come back to Brisbane with her. How nice!! So, I caught a bus up to Surfer’s and we went to the beach for a few hours. The weather was awesome and it felt so nice to be on...
Wrote this yesterday, things have changed, but...
It’s beautiful here today and I’m getting summer fever!!!
So I am backtracking, I’m sure, sorry.. One of the things I loved about the GOR was that you could see acres and acres of fields full of beautiful little yellow flowers. They covered the hillsides. I love yellow flowers! It was a nice contrast between somewhat mundane-ness of the green hills and the grey sky. As you drive...
So Sunday morning I wake up early…after a night of no sleep, thanks to my rowdy roommates, why would he put my in a room of all guys?! Anyways, no me importa. I go off to meet the strangers I am to travel down to Adeladie with in a van. Only met two of them and I was hoping for the best. The van was packed with three French girls’ things, and we still had Adrian, from Singapore...
So I really love it here. And crazy coincidences all around me. First: the other American kids that I met at Panda and Little Kangaroo’s house also made a Vantastic Adventure video and today he was telling me about it. Turns out we had watched eachother’s videos back home. What are the chances, he’s like, “you looked strangely familiar…” haha, funny. And I...
Australia is good to me. There’s so many reasons why I love it. One: they have parrots and wild cockatoos, the big beautiful white ones, just flying around like any other bird. 2: There is veggie cafes everywhere, and people are so darn nice! 3: I ssaw wild penguins down by the ocean. Every night they come in from sea to their nests in the rocks, they are so tiny and cute! I ate at this...
I think I will not go in the camper van with the French girls to ride up through the desert because I found a super cheap flight to Queensland! Plus, as advised by some fellow travelers, you don’t want to drive through the desert with boring people/ people you don’t really, really, like. Ok. So I won’t. Monday I go on my Great Ocean Road tour and I am going to try to book my...

Moving North :)
I thought I could handle a little bit of cold weather but I can’t. It’s just too cold for me. Can’t stand it, plus I am quite sick. I dont know how cold it is, but its about 11 degress C. You do the math, I’m sick and don’t wanna and all I know is its too cold. But I do love Melbourne and I’ll come back when there is no chance of a cold spell. I”m...
I JUST wanna say… I am meant to be here. First…the cheapest plane ticket EVER to here. SECOND, not even a full twenty four hours, and I met a family that asked me to be their babysitter. YAAAAY! Second: I mean, Second second: I have a free trip along the Great Ocean Road. This one kid won, but then gave it to me. I HELD a 3meter(like meters mean anything to me…?) Olive...

So I had a great first day. I actually wrote a post but then my computer died..and then I realized my converter only has two holes and not the third..so I can’t charge it… Oh and I forgot my phone charger so I’m out an Aussie phone too. BUT I had no problems getting to the hostel (thats the link for it). As I was putting my things in my room, I met these three awesome girls...
I’m so tired (and still in the airport). All I want to do is watch this in my old apartment with my roomies:

P.S. Airport Restaurant Buritto Chains in no way compare to Chipotle or even my favorite dollar treat, Taco Bell’s Beacy Rine. I shall miss my beloved Tex Mex Chains.
